Resettlement Support and Community Engagement service

This service supports refugees across Hampshire and Southampton City as part of the Syrian Vulnerable Person Relocation Scheme and the Vulnerable Children’s Relocation Scheme programmes.

We provide floating support services to individuals and families including resettlement and tenancy management, support to address physical and mental health support needs, money management and access to cultural and community services. We also work with a range of agencies to maximise the support and opportunities for clients. This is to enable them to access funding, improve health and wellbeing, develop English language skills and access education and training so that they can gain employment and maintain their accommodation tenancies.

Our aim is to provide person-centred support to our clients, empowering them to gain the life skills they require to access mainstream services and deal with everyday issues independently.

This service is provided for individuals and families identified by the United Nations High Commission for Refugees and agreed by Hampshire County Council.
