Wokingham

We work with Wokingham Borough Council to provide the following services:

Our young people service provides 24/7 support for up to seven young adults aged 16-21 years, including those leaving care.

Our aim is to support young people with their individual support needs to enable them to gain life skills and move on to lower or independent supported living. The service also has the capacity to provide an emergency bed on a temporary basis.

Our outreach / in reach service provides support to adults who are sleeping rough, helping them to access support and accommodation in Wokingham.

Our aim is to identify individuals who are sleeping rough, encourage them to complete activities that keep them safe and work in partnership with the Council and other housing providers to find housing options as quickly as possible. We then provide support to clients to maintain accommodation.

Our Housing First service supports adults, who have high needs and histories of entrenched or repeat homelessness, to get a home of their own where they can regain stability, safety, and support. The service works on the seven principles of Housing First, with the main principle being that safe and permanent housing comes first for someone who has experienced repeated homelessness.

Our priority is to find safe, permanent housing that’s suitable for the client, we do this in partnership with the Council and Loddon Homes. Once housing is found our dedicated team provides intensive one to one support to enable clients to maintain their accommodation and achieve their goals.
