A relief worker has penned a news article ‘paying tribute’ to the ‘compassion, patience, resilience, and unwavering commitment’ of her Two Saints colleagues.
Josephine Spires spoke to the Hampshire Chronicle about her experiences as a homeless recovery worker, explaining how our organisation supports people in the community who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
Originally working at Dene Court, Bridge House, and now at Sussex Street in Winchester, Josephine has been part of the Two Saints team since 2023.
In the exclusive news article, published on Easter Monday, she says: “Watching people walk through our doors in utter despair, only to see them leave with renewed hope is an experience that’s hard to put into words.”
