Safe Haven

Our Safe Haven service in Newport, Isle of Wight, provides a safe space for people experiencing a mental health crisis.  Support from our staff can be accessed by telephone, email or face to face during evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

Opening hours:

Monday to Friday – 5 pm to 10 pm

Weekends and bank holidays – 12 noon to 10 pm

Outreach Service

Our Outreach service has been commissioned by the Isle of Wight Council to support those individuals who are rough sleeping, in emergency accommodation or facing homelessness.  If you believe someone is sleeping rough, please notify us by creating an alert on Streetlink

Our Outreach team will receive all alerts for the Isle of Wight and respond within 24 hours to ensure the rough sleeper is searched for, and support is offered.  For any other queries relating to our Outreach service, please contact us on the email below.

Housing First

This service has been set up in partnership with the Isle of Wight Council and runs alongside our Outreach service.  In order to help people sustain their tenancy, Housing First offers stable accommodation with intensive support to those who are entrenched in rough sleeping and homelessness.  The clients will be identified through the Homeless Pathway Panel and Multi Agency Risk Management Team.

Housing First do not take direct referrals from clients, and if you are experiencing issues with homelessness, please refer to the Isle of Wight Council in the first instance.  For any other queries relating to Housing First, please contact us on the email below.

Homeless Pathway

This service works in partnership with the Isle of Wight Council and other Homeless Pathway providers to support clients on the Single Homeless Pathway with temporary affordable accommodation.  The clients will be identified through the Homeless Pathway Panel and will be supported to move on to independent living in a more permanent setting.
