Our staff and clients have been having fun in the sun this month – and we’ve had some incredible support from our community too.

Here’s some of the good news which has been putting big smiles on Two Saints faces this July!

Cosham Baptist Church hosted a summer concert on in support of Two Saints, raising a grand total of £834.14 from ticket sales and bucket collection.

The Cosham Community Choir performed songs including Jerusalem, Over the Rainbow, Sing Gently, and a medley of songs from The Lion King.

The picture shows our regional director Kate as she addressed the audience before the show, telling them a little about the work we do at Two Saints and how their donations helps people in their community.

Clients from Southampton Young People and Parents put the pedal to the metal as they enjoyed a trip go-karting.

They were accompanied on the course by staff who also had a great time.

Natalie, team leader at Miriam House, said: “SYPP Go Karting event was absolutely fabulous!

“Clients said: ‘This was great fun, thank you so much, when can we do this again’.”

Some of our West Berkshire House Housing First clients enjoyed a picnic in their local park.

Housing First team leader Amanda said: “The clients said that the picnic was really good, it was a nice change to get out in the sunshine, the weather was nice, the company was nice, and we would like to do more activities like this.”

It was par-tee time for two of our Portsmouth clients as they tried their hands at crazy golf

Mental health recovery worker Sophie (pictured on the right of the photo) took clients Shane and Lucy to The Putt Hutt on Clarence Pier in Southsea.

Cindy, Portsmouth Mental Health Services team leader, said: “Lucy returned to the service with a big smile on her face and said how much she enjoyed it.

“So pleased you all had fun – and Shane and Lucy got to experience something new!”
