Summer may be drawing to a close, but that doesn’t mean the fun has to!
Here’s some of the good news which put big smiles on Two Saints faces this September.
Staff at our Oakdene House service in Portsmouth hosted a summer barbeque for their clients to enjoy in their lovely garden space!
There was an amazing turnout, with clients enjoying delicious burgers, sausages, as well as some home-grown corn charred on the coals.
Tegan, Vicky, and Lauren from the service team did an amazing job, taking initiative and holding a quiz to accompany the food, as well as supporting clients in looking through our donations for some new garments.
A member of our brilliant Client Engagement Team has been studying nutrition, and made a delicious spread of food to share with the others!
She also very kindly compiled a recipe book that includes ingredients and easy-to-follow methods for a variety of budget-friendly recipes for clients and staff to follow.
We had six teams of staff and clients battling for the top spot in our recent annual Summer Client Engagement Quiz.
In the end, Goldsmith Avenue’s team, the Gold Stars, were crowned this summer’s winners!
They were recently given their trophy, which is theirs to display until our next quiz in December.
