This gift bag represents a client’s success story, thanks to the support of staff at Two Saints.
Paul, a community support worker at the Day Centre in Southampton, received this gift from a client he has been working with for more than a year.
Paul said: “When I first met him, he was rough sleeping in a car park, heavily alcohol dependent with no recourse to public funds and so unable to access any financial support.
“He had no hope and could not see a way forward.
“Over the next 18 months he was supported to address his drinking, and moved into the Assessment Centre where he was able to rebuild his routine and start to live “normally” again while attending therapy for his alcoholism.
“Fast forward to January 2025 and my client gave me a token of his gratitude for all the service has done for him since he was picked up in June 2023.
“As a practicing Christian, he highlighted a passage in the Bible to express his feelings, cited in the card.
“The Lamborghini was in recognition of my passion for Hot Wheels toys, having observed my browsing them while taking him grocery shopping.”
A big well done to Paul for all his hard work – he is clearly making such a difference to the lives of the people he supports.
