Portsmouth resettlement

In Portsmouth Two Saints offers a wide range of services from intensive 24-7 staffed accommodation based options, through to semi-independent living and floating support services. We offer this support to a diverse client group but always aim to provide high quality needs-led services. 

In the Portsmouth area, services available include:

Resettlement services for people with mental health issues

Within this client group we offer a spectrum of services covering floating support for clients in their own home, through to a small (six bedroomed) house with on-site support workers and shared cooking and leisure facilities. We also offer an emergency on-call service for clients.

As well as this, our range of services include a small, intensively staffed scheme for people with enduring mental health issues. Here we are able to work with residents who may have lived institutionally but who are eager to engage in learning new skills through our support planning process to maximise their potential.  

Services for ex-offenders and those at risk of re-offending

Two Saints has specialist staff working closely with this client group.

We operate both in the Portsmouth and Havant areas and provide accommodation based services. This includes keyworking and support planning work which identifies both the risks and the potential for each service user.

As well as accommodation based services, Two Saints maintains close links with the Probation and Police services. Through the Safer Cities Project we are able to support 7 service users in self-contained independent flats in Portsmouth.

Finally, we provide two HAAS floating support staff (in Portsmouth and Havant) who are working closely with clients living independently, aiming to reduce re-offending. 

Services for people with substance misuse issues

Two Saints is able to offer specialist support for service users with substance misuse issues. Accommodation based support is offered with a high staffing ratio, which includes weekend support. This accommodation is clean and dry.

In addition we provide move-on, semi-independent accommodation both in Portsmouth city and in the Paulsgrove area.

Finally, we offer a small number of flats with a minimum of support. At all times we aim to work closely with the service users to develop a sustainable lifestyle.

General resettlement

In Portsmouth Two Saints is active in the provision of good quality, modern, move-on accommodation.

We provide a purpose built 18 bed resettlement unit with skilled staff who work with the individual to hone the skills needed to sustain independence.

In this resettlement unit, as well as our other accommodation within Portsmouth and its environs, we recognise that the causes of homelessness are various and work flexibly with residents to ensure individuals are able to develop the particular skills identified through the support planning process.
