Volunteer For Two Saints

Why volunteer for Two Saints?

Homeless and vulnerable people rely on our support and services, yet we couldn’t operate without volunteers.

The individuals who give us their time are a vital part of the service we offer to clients.

Volunteers get involved in all aspects of the organisation from acting as mentors and manning the reception desks to helping out at head office and making tea.  It doesn’t matter what your skills and experiences are, we need you!

What’s in it for you?

Volunteering is a great way to enhance your CV, develop your skills, meet new people and get to know your local community; all at the same time as knowing you are making a huge difference to some of society’s most vulnerable members.

Matthew Byrne volunteers at our Southampton Day Centre.  He says the experience provides him with enormous benefits:

“I really enjoy volunteering at the centre. It’s a busy place and I've learnt lots of new skills.  I get involved with activities including admin and reception duties, helping clients with their Maths, English and IT skills and assisting with CVs.  It’s so rewarding and has definitely made me consider a career in social care.  It’s great to help people who come here to move on and get a job.  You can really see the difference you’re making to people’s lives.  Plus I’ve benefited personally as well. My CV has many new skills and experiences and I feel much more confident now.”
