Christmas cheer was brought to the residents of Two Saints' Southampton Resettlement Services following a donation of a Christmas hamper from Sainsbury's Hedge End store. The festive treat was arranged through liaison with the Sainsbury's team, namely Lesley Powell and Karen Doran.
The hamper was presented to staff members Charmaine Prentice and Tracie Kochanowska at Sainsbury's Hedge End store on the 18th December, by the Store Manager Darren Noonan. Included within the donation were items such as Christmas puddings and cakes, a personal gift for clients to open on Christmas day and a Christmas Turkey.
The donation was used to conduct a special Chistmas Smart Cook session on Monday 21st December. Staff and residents at the Resettlement Services worked together to produce an early Christmas dinner so that everyone could eat together. Other items from the hamper were used throughout the Chrstmas week.
The event was a huge success and our thanks go out to all those that helped to bring the Christmas meal together.
